Skrillex is back at it again this year with his fourth track of 2021. He puts away his dark synths, trap beats, and rock-inspired repertoire and trades it for a Latin-inspired track. As one of the kings of genre-melting in the EDM scene, he collaborates with Colombian reggaeton artist JBalvin. The duo brings us a beautifully contagious genre mash-up that can easily make “In DaGhetto” THE summer anthem. This upbeat track brings a familiar nostalgic 90's feel as it samples The Back Yard Club and Crystal Water's "In De Ghetto." However, the modern twist incorporates reggaeton and house elements to create an irresistibly bouncy beat.

But what does this mean for the most unpredictable producer in the game? In an interview earlier this year with BBC1 radio, he teases that there are many tracks he's been working on throughout this quiet pandemic year. He has not released a solo album since Recess in 2014.With lots of new music he claims to be sitting on, will 2021 be the lucky year we are blessed with a full album? To check out his tracks live and potentially get a sneak peek with track IDs, you can find him headlining later this October at the Sold Out Festival, Suwannee Hulaween in Live Oak, Florida.
